Appropriately used-- interactively and with guidance, technology has become an effective tool for development of teaching- learning. It has become a tool for the development of higher order thinking skills. Teachers can use multimedia technology to give more colorful, stimulating lectures. It has also been found that the technology can be used to stimulate and develop writing skills, collaborate with peers in foreign countries. Also it helps pedagogically as well as Andragogically.
New technologies like Podcasting, Blogging, MessageBoards, Videoconferencing are some of the effective tools in the process of teaching-learning.
